    • 1 clove of Garlic, whole
    • 6 oz can Tomato paste
    • 32 oz Beef Broth  (Campbells Beef Broth an option)
    • 2 Tbsp. Worchester sauce
    • 1 Tbsp dried Parsley
    • 1 tsp Oregano
    • 1 cup Frozen Peas (optional)
    • 1 cup Frozen Corn (optional)
    • All-purpose flour for dredging
    • Making your stew juices a bit thicker, a “gravy style”..
    • Add*1/4 cup flour  1/4 cup water
Take your beef pieces and lightly dredge in some flour, then quickly sear in a frying pan to lock in the juices.
Add the beef, carrots, parsnips, onions, shallots, potatoes, salt, pepper, garlic, parsley, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and tomato paste in the crockpot.
Set your crockpot on LOW for 10 hours or on HIGH for 6-7 hours.
If you are wanting more of a “gravy” for your stew, then mix water and flour together in a separate dish and give it a good mix.
Add to your crockpot stew dish about 20-30 minutes before serving.
Next, add in your frozen peas and corn.
Continue cooking covered for 20-30 minutes.
